Kim Riley Johnson, CPA
Kim Riley Johnson, CPA, is a senior tax manager with Hill, Long & Co. specializing in taxation of expatriates and tax controversy. As a former expat herself, Kim brings a unique global perspective to the firm. A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Kim relocated to Houston in 2010 following sixteen years living abroad. Kim, her husband Bill, and their two children have resided in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Paris; Brussels; and, most recently, Singapore where she owned and operated a U.S. tax and small business consultancy. Kim started her public accounting career in 1991 with McGladrey & Pullen in Los Angeles. Prior to this, she served for seven years as a member of the White House staff during the Reagan and Bush Administrations. Kim was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is licensed to practice public accounting in both California and Texas.
